The birth place of Swami Ram Pyara Ji is Nangal in Ropar
district of Punjab.
He was born in a thakur family on the second of the jayeshde month of Bikrami Samwat 1973. His father Thakur Vijay Singh Ji & mother Smt. Kapoori Devi realized the extraordinary traits (i.e. meditational skills) of Swami Ji during his early childhood. His interest in the spiritual increased daily and He spent hours in search of God. However, he lacked a true Guru . He started searching for a true Guru and at last, by chance, he happened to meet Shri 1008 Sat Guru Dev Swami Mulakha Raj Ji Maharaj. After meeting him, his devotion to swami ji increased exponentially and he achieved his goal of a search of a true Guru.
Yogeshwar Swami Mulakha Raj Ji was administering
Yog Sadhan Ashram” at Chheharta for the welfare of the people. So Swami Ram Pyara Ji started staying about 10 kms from Chheharta in order to be near his Guru. He found a job to earn a livelihood for his family but throughout his major motivating force was devotion to yoga.
Such was the inclination of Swami Ram Pyara ji
t
towards Guru Maharaj that as soon as his job hours were over, he would rush to the ashram at Chheharta for the services of Guru Maharaj. Day after day he carried on with this routine of work and service. His devotion and routine continued and rather than feeling tired or disillusioned with the passage of time his spiritual lust, devotion and love for Mulakha Raj Ji only increased. At last in 1940, he resigned from his service and totally devoted his life the mission of Yogeshwar Mulakha Raj Ji. Now he spends day and night unflinchingly in the
services
of the ashram.
